I need to get a new grammar curriculum and would like to hear if anyone has used any of the ones I'm looking out. Right now I'm looking at....
Growing with Grammar
Easy Grammar Series
Shurley English
Applied Grammar
Any experience?

I have Applied Grammar but I have not used it, I got it for our co-op and we did not try it. I have used Easy Grammar and it is like it says, Easy. It is pretty good but very one sided with just grammar. I have not tried Shurley but I am wanting to. I have not seen the growing with grammar but I am going right now to take a look at it. What grade level is this for?

I use a mixture of Bob Jones and when they run into a problem I take time for some extra concentration using the Easy Grammar. BJU has writing mixed with the grammar. I like it. It can be a little difficult on the teacher if you child isn't a writer, but it does teach some good writing and grammar skills.

Thanks for the info. At this point I'm not concerned if a grammar program incorporates writing. My oldest has difficulties with writing due to a speech/language delay, so we're working with a separate writing program.
I can't remember now if it's Easy Grammar or Growing with Grammar that's spiral bound from the top, which helps left-handers. But I think I'm going to hold off ordering a grammar program until I can take a look at Applied Grammar at the SAHA convention this month.
